Ransom Infill Sites
Welcome to our website. Here you will find further information on the Ransom Group's plans to redevelop brownfield sites that are no longer fit for purpose.
We have now submitted our applications to Epsom and Ewell Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
The Ransom Group has had a long-standing involvement in housing development and the community in the area for a number of years.
Leslie Ransom and his family played a key role in shaping the local housing market and from its base on Ellerton Road, Tolworth, Ransom built nearly 1,000 homes before the outbreak of World War II.
In recent years, its focus has been on the management and improvement of the residual property portfolio in the area but always with an eye to helping the community, a commitment that it continues to this day.
At all 4 of the proposed sites, the existing garages are no longer suitable for modern needs, having been built before today’s larger vehicles. Currently, most of these garages are used for storage, and many are in poor condition, with issues such as subsidence. It is not economically viable to replace the damaged roofs or rebuild the garages.
